Exporting Iranian dates to Turkey

Turkey is one of the six markets Sevin Nakhl plans around. The lane is short compared with China, and buyers often reorder a grade they already sell.

What Turkish buyers tend to specify

Grade name first: Mazafati, Rabbi, Zahedi or Kabkab. Then the pack. Wholesale cartons, 5 kg and 10 kg all move. A price without the pack is not comparable to the last shipment.

Quality the reorder depends on

Color should match the previous lot closely enough that the retailer does not have to re-explain the product. Soft grades need intact fruit, not a carton of crushed pieces. Semi-dry grades should not arrive sticky from a liner that was meant for Mazafati.

Send the grade, the monthly volume and the city or port you clear through. Sevin Nakhl replies with availability and a pack. Documents follow the destination’s usual import set. The company does not claim a certificate it does not hold. If a buyer needs a named document, it is listed on the quote before anyone agrees.
